We’re Not the Only One Excited About Newton’s Growth!
It appears the secret is out about Newton’s growth! Yesterday, BizWest, a media and publishing company that covers business news, data and economic statistics for the northern Colorado area, published an article highlighting the rapid expansion of Newton in Fort Collins.
Why Fort Collins?
In 2013, when we first started looking for a second office location, we were deciding between Fort Collins, Boulder, Portland, and Boise. After conducting a labor study, the Newton executive team chose Fort Collins as a “second home” because of great office space, an abundance of engineering talent, and close proximity to Colorado State University (who has already provided us with some incredible resources).
Fort Collins Hub Expands Beyond Engineering
Initially, this location was used to round out our engineering teams. However, Fort Collins has quickly become a center of gravity for our customer success and support teams led by Jonathan Chenard, Newton’s Head of Customer Success, who recently relocated to Fort Collins from our San Francisco office.
Since opening a Fort Collins location in 2013, Newton has already outgrown office space twice. Fortunately, we have settled into what will be (for the time being) a permanent home in the 5,000 square foot office building located at 145 E. Mountain Ave in the heart of Old Town. The new facility has prime collaborative work space for nearly 60 professionals.
Excited to Grow with the Fort Collins Community!
Today, as the team settles into our new digs and reflects on the original decision to open offices in Fort Collins, we couldn’t be happier with the outcome! As our growth progresses, we are excited to continue to become a part of the Fort Collins community and leave a positive footprint. In fact, our FoCo team has already participated in some meaningful community service work and we plan to continue this involvement going forward!
Local to FoCo? Come meet the team!
We will be hosting a grand opening, open house, (whatever name works to get people to come) this coming Tuesday, October 18th, from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. Whether you are a Newton customer, partner, local business member, or Fort Collins native that just wants to stop by and say hi, please do not be shy! You will have the opportunity to check out our new office, meet the team, and of course, enjoy free food and beverages courtesy of your friends at Newton!
