Just a month and a half into 2016 and we’re excited to announce another set of enhancements to our leading applicant tracking system that’s designed specifically for small and medium-sized employers.
In case you missed it, our first release of 2016 was Newton Mobile Apply, a feature that’s turned out to be one of the most popular releases in Newton history.
HERE IS WHAT IS IN THE LATEST RELEASE
While we’re gearing up for some exciting big new features focused on offer letters, email, search and more, this release is focused on making Newton run better. For this second release, our engineering team made 300+ enhancements to Newton. Some of the areas that were improved in this release are –
Scheduling interviews is time consuming. With Newton, you’ll have an integrated scheduling assistant that works with both Outlook and Gmail. Newton helps you find times that your team is free and will even write all of those meeting invitations for you. We’re always making improvements to this functionality because we know how much time a good scheduling tool will save you.
Acknowledging every applicant is a fundamental “must have” of any applicant tracking system. We’ve taken this feature to the next level by allowing employers to further customize “thank you for applying” messages. And, speaking or applicants applying, we’ve also expanded our tagging taxonomy in this latest release to empower employers to better categorize applicants based on referral source.

To ensure that Newton is simple, smart, safe and flexible, we’ve added even more configurability options to the administrative area of Newton.
