Just six months into the year and we’re jazzed to announce the 4th major upgrade to Newton, the fastest growing applicant tracking system specifically designed for small and medium-size employers.
We’ve dubbed this release “Edison”. This newest version (v.10.4) of Newton and accompanying new functionality is available to users of Newton’s applicant tracking system now. There are lots of new improvements that our 50,000+ users will be excited about! Many of the upgrades come from suggestions from our active user community. Thanks to those that continue to offer suggestions!
Here’s are some of the highlights that are live today in the Edison release.
CANDIDATE DE-DUPLICATE / MERGE
De-duplicate allows Newton Administrators to merge multiple candidates into just one record. It was specifically designed to allow users to:
* merge candidates who are sourced and then apply to a job;
* merge candidates who apply to the same job multiple times.
ENHANCED JOB SEARCH AND REPORTING
We’ve improved Newton’s Job Search functionality. Now users can filter Job Search results by Any Status, Any Department, Any Location, Any User, Last Updated, EEO Category, Status, Priority, Target Fill Date, Hiring Manager, Recruiters, Executives and Team Members. And, you can export the results of your search into a report with export capabilities to CSV and Excel. Similar enhancements are coming to Candidate Search very soon!
DELETE A STATUS CHANGE
Reporting is important for many users of Newton and Newton’s strong recruiting analytics capabilities are one of the reasons employers choose Newton. Now, when a member of your team makes a mistake, this feature will allow you to “Delete a Status Change”. This will also remove the a “bad” status from analytics. Clean data is one of the keys to better more accurate reporting.
MORE DRAG AND DROP FUNCTIONALITY
Sourcing candidates from the web? Want to add a candidate that someone has sent you via email? No problem. Just drag and drop any type of attachment to the “Create a Candidate” page and Newton will parse the resume into the system.
PREDICTIVE PRE HIRE BEHAVIORAL ASSESSMENTS
Predict how well applicants will fit the job BEFORE the interview. Make better, faster, data-driven hiring decisions with pre hire behavioral assessments offered by Newton. Employers using Newton can opt-in to use this new add-on functionality now.
We talk about speed so often that most of our users take it for granted but our team is obsessed with speed (so to speak). The product team has made enhancements to the reporting functionality of Newton have increased the average reporting time by nearly 1100%. And, they we’re that slow to start with!
