Newton Enhances Applicant Tracking System to Address Section 503 and VEVRAA Regulation Changes
IMPORTANT: This update may be critical to your business. The Federal Government’s rule changes are just around the corner. In order to address the newly minted OFCCP regulations we have a critical enhancement on the way. This functionality will be available to employers on March 21,2014.
What this means: After March 24, 2014 government contractors will be required to solicit disability information from applicants. There is also a new reporting requirement for protected veterans. Companies will be required to comply with the new regulations based on the date of their affirmative action plans.
