Newton, a Paycor company, is the brainchild of recruiting professionals who launched the product in 2009 after having run hundreds of high-performance recruiting programs across the US. Their goal wasn’t to revolutionize recruiting, it was to create an ATS that was easy-to-use, easy-to-implement, and affordable for any size of company regardless of how fast they were growing. 

Paycor acquired Newton Software in December of 2015 to strengthen its talent acquisition offering. The best-of-breed ATS is part of Paycor’s HR, onboarding, time and payroll platform to provide small and medium-sized employers with a fully unified HCM solution that alleviates the administration burden of hiring and managing people and empowers employers to make a difference in their organization.

Our Mission.

When Newton was founded in 2009, our mission was simple. Design software that we’d want to use, sell it how we’d want to buy it, and provide the level of support we’d expect as customers.

Newton was acquired by Paycor in December of 2015, allowing us to grow our team of product experts and engineers. Continued investment by Paycor enables us to improve our product and provide superior support that our customers have come to expect from our team. Today, Newton is used by over 1500 HR teams on any given day making our ATS one of the fastest growing in the World.

We’ve made it easy to get your entire team involved in hiring and we are constantly looking for more ways to improve usage rates across all of our clients. We use Newton ourselves and we know that more usage means more data. More data yields better analytics. Better analytics leads to better decisions. Better decisions means healthier organizations.
