Newton continues to improve the speed and performance of it’s leading applicant tracking system and simplifies integrations to employers’ careers sites with December enhancements.
In the midst of working on one of Newton’s biggest feature upgrades to date, Interview Scheduling, Newton’s product team has released two significant upgrades available now to employers using Newton’s hiring software.
Database Performance Upgrades Makes Newton the fastest ATS available
Newton’s product team has just upgraded all databases to SSD-based instances in Amazon’s Cloud environment. Who cares? Well, SSD has access speeds of 35 to 100 micro-seconds, which is nearly 100 times faster than previous database instances. This faster access speed means Newton will be run more quickly, which is very significant, especially for features that access and process large amounts of data like recruiting analytic and reports.
Simple, Smart, Safe Careers Page Integration Improvements with Single-Line iFrame Codes
With Newton, there are 3 options that employers can choose from to integrate job listings from their Newton account onto their websites. One of the most common options is to use an iFrame. An iFrame (inline Frame) is an HTML document embedded inside another HTML document (an employer’s careers page) on a website. With Newton, the iFrame HTML element is used to insert job content from an employer’s Newton account onto their careers page.
This week, Newton upgraded the iFrame careers page option making it a simple (10-15 minute) project for any web or IT administrator. Newton’s new single-line iframe functionality allows web masters to paste a single line of code into their career’s page code. Extended features empower web masters to control scrolling and advanced CSS customization providing employers with a fully-branded, easy-to-administer integrated applicant experience.
